What's wrong: The replacement air bag trimmed covers have been manufactured with tethers of an incorrect length.
Why it matters: In the event of a crash, this could result in damage to the air bag itself during deployment increasing the risk of injuries.
The fix: Dealers will replace the passenger's air bag cover free of charge. The recall began on March 11, 2008.
Fuel system Vehicle recall #08V217000 · 2008 · 13,420 vehicles
What's wrong: There is the potential for road salt to corrode the outer surface of the fuel filter. This could lead to the filter housing becoming porous with a corresponding fuel leak.
Why it matters: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire.
The fix: Dealers will replace the fuel filter and reposition the retaining clip on all affected vehicles. The recall began on June 18, 2008.
