6 vehicle recalls from the manufacturer. Repairs are free. Check your VIN to see if one is still open on your car.
Tires Vehicle recall #14V800000 · 2014 · 944 vehicles
What's wrong: The affected vehicles were built with a premium instrument cluster and lowline tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The TPMS warning light May not illuminate when low tire pressure is detected. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (fmvss) no. 138, "tire pressure monitoring systems."
Why it matters: A malfunctioning TPMS light will not notify an owner of an improperly inflated tire. An improperly inflated tire May experience a complete loss of tire pressure, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
The fix: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will reconfigure the vehicles from a lowline TPMS to a highline TPMS, free of charge. The recall began on January 27, 2015.
Transmission & drivetrain Vehicle recall #15V542000 · 2015 · 23,564 vehicles
What's wrong: The affected vehicles May experience failure of the transmission control module (tcm), causing the transmission to unexpectedly shift into neutral.
Why it matters: If the transmission shifts into neutral, it can cause loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
The fix: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tcm and bracket, free of charge. Chrysler issued an interim notification to owners on October 14, 2015. The recall began on January 15, 2016.
Electrical Vehicle recall #16V113000 · 2016 · 1,122 vehicles
What's wrong: 0l engine and a manual transmission. Additionally included are certain 2015 Dodge dart vehicles similarly equipped and brought in for dealer service between September 15, 2015 and January 12, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the powertrain control module that monitors the engine torque output May be missing a backup layer of software.
Why it matters: Without a backup layer of software, the control module May fail to prevent an un-commanded torque event, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will update the engine control module software, free of charge. The recall began on March 25, 2016.
Equipment Vehicle recall #17V824000 · 2017 · 61,791 vehicles

These extinguishers May become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle May detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the…
Why it matters: If the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury in the event of a fire.
The fix: Chrysler will notify owners instructing them to contact kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began February 14, 2018.
Transmission & drivetrain, Transmission & drivetrain Vehicle recall #19V293000 · 2019 · 298,439 vehicles
What's wrong: The shifter cable bushing May fail allowing the shift cable to detach from the transmission.
Why it matters: If the shifter cable detaches from the transmission, the vehicle May not perform the shifts performed by the driver. Additionally, despite selecting park with the shifter, the vehicle May roll away. These scenarios May increase the risk of a crash.
The fix: This recall will be replaced by NHTSA recall number 25v674. Vehicles already repaired under this recall will need to have the new remedy completed. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the transmission side shifter cable bushing, free of charge. The recall began September 5, 2019.
Transmission & drivetrain Vehicle recall #25V674000 · 2025 · 298,439 vehicles
What's wrong: The shifter cable May detach from the transmission, preventing the vehicle from shifting into the park (p) position and causing a loss of park function.
Why it matters: A loss of park function May allow the vehicle to rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Vehicles that were previously repaired under recall 19v293 will need to have the new remedy completed. Dealers will replace the shifter cable assembly and install a cap, free of charge.
