What's wrong: The vehicles fail to make sufficient pedestrian warning sounds when stationary and in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 141, "minimum sound requirements for hybrid and electric vehicles."
Why it matters: A vehicle that fails to make sufficient sound May result in pedestrians being unaware of an approaching vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will update the audio amplifier software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 16, 2023.

What's wrong: The water pump pulley drive belt May become damaged or detach, which can allow the engine to overheat. An overheated engine can rupture the engine coolant elbow pipe, leaking coolant onto the turbocharger heat shield.
Why it matters: Coolant leaking onto the turbocharger heat shield inside the engine compartment can increase the risk of a fire.
The fix: Dealers will replace the engine coolant elbow and the turbocharger feed coolant pipe, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 19, 2023.
