What's wrong: Lucid USA, Inc. (Lucid) is recalling certain 2026 gravity vehicles. Incorrect backrest covers May have been installed on the front seats, preventing the side air bags from deploying correctly.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "rear visibility."
Why it matters: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
